last night was trunk or treat at the church and the kids had a blast. i was bummed to get to take the kids by myself (james has an evening class on wednesdays), but glad that koa wore his school bus and kawelo was content with his stroller confinement. kalei was her usual perfect self. they were pleased with their haul and i was pleased with their behavior, so we had a candy tasting picnic when we got home. ahhhhh.....halloween.

i'm totally cheap. :) he said "no!" to everything i suggested. he finally agreed to the bus, and there was no way i was going to spend money on something he might change his mind about, so i made it. :) -bess
so cute!! cool bus too! i feel for you doing the halloween thing alone. it was like that for me every year in utah because halloween was always end of quarter for corporate sales and on top of that, their year end so they would have to stay at work literally all night trying to get all the sales pushed through. it sucked. i'm glad the kids behaved for you.
