apparently, sitting down, koa & kawelo look the same size. several times in the past week, i have been asked if the boys are twins. twins! i laugh and say no, but inside i'm thinking, "what?! they're 2 1/2 years apart! ... and they don't even look that much alike!" they are adorable, but each in their own way. i know, i know, in the big scope of things, this is not a big deal. that being said, i think the older folks in our area might need a more rigorous eye exam schedule.
okay, in this picture they look kinda alike, but they don't usually - fyi.

This picture is sooooo cute! I especially love Koa! What would you do without his craziness?
As they grow, people will eventually recognize they each have their own personalities & looks. That just reminded me of a family that lived down the block from us, when I was growing up. There were about 7 little boys, and each one of them looked exactly (& walked & talked exactly) like their father.
